Brownsburg (9-6-1) defeated No.10 Zionsville 5-2 to close the 2020 regular season Sept. 30. Senior Grace Crawford scored a brace in the win over the Eagles. The result secured a fifth consecutive winning season for Brownsburg and was the 50th victory of Head Coach Josh George's high school coaching career.

Brownsburg jumped out to a 3-0 first half lead over the Eagles. The Bulldogs have scored at least three first half goals in two of their last three matches.

Crawford got the scoring underway with a 6th minute shot from the top of the box. The ball took a Brownsburg bounce and found its way past the goalkeeper. Lydia Emmert assisted on the shot.

In the 29th minute Abby Lynch scored on a feed from Crawford and a big strike from outside of the box. It was the eighth goal of the season for Lynch.

Taelyn Hendrickson scored off a free kick from just inside the center line in the 38th minute. The goalkeeper had the shot in her hands initially but let the ball through for Hendrickson's 8th of the year.

Brownsburg busted out of the gate as Lynch fed Hoskins for a goal in the 42nd minute. Hoskins buried the goal off a beautiful finish on the run.

Crawford capped off the scoring following a corner kick in the 51st minute. Crawford, who has scored six goals over Brownsburg's last three matches, moves into a tie for the top goal scoring mark (14) in the Hoosier Crossroads Conference.
