Second-half goals lift Girls' soccer over Franklin Central, 2-0

The Brownsburg girls soccer team defeated Franklin Central 2-0 Sept. 26, picking up its second straight Hoosier Crossroads win. Senior Grace Crawford (44') and Samantha Vondersaar (52') scored in the second half to lead Brownsburg to the win. The Bulldogs improved to 8-6-1 on the season.

Although possesion it the match was even Brownsburg dominated the shot count by a 25-3 margin in the win. The Bulldogs poured 15 shots on goal and generated a pair of corner kicks against the Flashes. 

Following a scoreless first half Crawford netted her 12th goal of the season in the 44th minute. Kylie Conrad played the through ball to Crawford scored on the goalkeeper to put Brownsburg on the board. 

Taelyn Hendrickson's corner kick in the 52nd minute set up the goal from Vondersaar. The ball found its way to the top of the box and Vondersaar scored her second goal of the year.
