By Keelen Barlow

The No.9 ranked Brownsburg Girls' soccer team moved to 3-1-1 on the year after a 2-2 result with North Central on Aug. 29. The Bulldogs trailed 2-1 at the break before rallying to tie the game.

Brownsburg poured 12 shots on the Panthers and held a 5-2 advantage in corner kicks in the game. The Bulldogs dominated possession in the second half but weren't able to break through again after leveling the match.

Brownsburg got in the board early off penalty kick from Abby Lynch. In the second minute, she drew the foul and stepped in to take her own PK. It was the third goal of the season for Lynch.

The Bulldogs out-chanced North Central for the remainder of the first half. Lynch nearly struck again the 18th minute after a ball through the midfield from Kylie Conrad. The chance brought the North Central goalkeeper off her line, but Lynch rang the ball off the near post.

North Central struck for a pair of goals six minutes apart midway through the first half and the Panthers rode a 2-1 lead into the break.

Brownsburg earned a pair of corner kicks in the 52nd minute with the latter resulting in the fourth goal of the season for Taelyn Hendrickson. Hendrickson took the free kick that found the back of the net and evened the score.
