The Dogs lost an incredibly close game to the Carmel Greyhounds by 1 point tonight. The final score of 53-52 was achieved by the Greyhounds in the last seconds of the final quarter. This loss puts the Dogs at a 7-3 record.

Senior Allison Bosse led the team with a total of 19 points. Senior Ally Becki came in with 10 points and senior Mackenzie Stein ended with 9 points. The Bulldogs were leading at the half with a score of 24-20, as well as at the 3rd quarter with a score of 40-31.

Carmel did a complete turn around in the final quarter of the game, tying up the score 3 times. Both teams put up a fight until the very last second. With only 8 seconds left in the game, the Dogs were leading by 1 and forced the Greyhounds into a timeout. Immediately after, the Dogs got called on a foul that gave the Greyhounds 2 free throw attempts, which were made to give them a now 1 point lead. The Bulldogs attempted to remedy and come back for a win, but the fight just wasn't enough.

The Bulldogs will be back on Tuesday, Dec. 17 at Harrison-West Lafayette. JV will tip off at 6 PM with Varsity to follow.
