No.13/12 @bhsdogsghoops falls at top-ranked Lawrence North

The Brownsburg varsity girls' basketball team fell to No.1 Lawrence North 50-49 in the Bulldogs' final game before the Christmas holiday. Allison Bosse scored 17 points to lead to Bulldogs in scoring.

Bosse scored the 1,000th point of her Brownsburg career early in the third quarter of the Bulldogs' loss. Heading into the game she needed just 8 points to become the ninth player in program history to score 1,000 career points.

Brownsburg led the Wildcats 14-6 after the first quarter as Ally Becki hit back to back three pointers. LN responded with a 21-7 run in the second quarter to lead Brownsburg 27-23 at the break.

Bosse's 1,000th career point came during a strong third-quarter surge for Brownsburg to open the third quarter. The Bulldogs opened on an 8-2 run and went on to hit a trio of threes in the quarter.

Brownsburg was in control 38-34 heading into the final quarter.

The Bulldogs maintained their lead over Lawrence North all the way up to the final minute as Brownsburg led 48-45 with 21.7 seconds left in the fourth. The Wildcats hit a deep three pointer to tie the game at 48 and connected on two free throws to beat Brownsburg and remain unbeaten.
