Fourth-quarter surge isn't enough as No.13/11 @bhsdogsghoops falls at No.8/9 Center Grove

By Keelen Barlow

The Brownsburg varsity girls basketball team fell in their matchup with top-ten foe Center Grove on January 2nd. Allison Bosse scored a game-high 17 points for Brownsburg in the loss to the Trojans.

The Bulldogs were without the services of junior point guard Ally Beck as she sat out with a leg injury.

Brownsburg got off a to a slow start as the Bulldogs were only able to muster 10 points in the first half. Their stout defense kept the Trojans with reach somewhat as Center Grove led 21-10.

Brownsburg's surge in the fourth quarter was not enough as the Bulldogs fell 40-34 despite outscoring Center Grove 16-11 in the home stretch.
