No.12/14 @bhsdogsghoops rolls past Cascade, moves to county final

The Brownsburg varsity girls' basketball team defeated Cascade 74-40 in the 2020 Hendricks' County Girls' Basketball Tournament semi-final on January 10. The Bulldogs advance to tomorrow night's Hendricks' County Girls' Basketball Tournament championship game against at Tri-West Hendricks High School. The Bulldogs will play Plainfield after the Quakers defated host Tri-West earlier in the night. 

The Bulldogs were led by nine different scorers in what was the their largest scoring output since December of 2018. Allison Bosse scored 20 points for Brownsburg while Mackenzie Stein pitched in 15 points of her own. Novlaee Glass was one of her career-high with 12 points for the Bulldogs. 

Ally Becki had a season-high seven assists for the Bulldogs. 

Brownsburg grabbed a 27-8 lead in the first quarter and never looked back. Stien scored nine of Brownsburg's first eleven points in the game as she paced the Bulldogs early. 

Every varsity player who was dressed for the matchup saw the floor in what continued to be a dominating performance for the Bulldogs. Brownsburg posted its largest margin of victory since a 51-point win over Greenwood back in 2018.

Tomrrow night, Brownsburg will look to win back to back Hendricks County Girls' Basketball Tournament championships for the fourth time since 2000 as it takes on the Plainfield Quakers. The matchup will follow the Hendricks County Boys' Basketball Tournament championship between the Bulldogs and Quakers. Tip off is set for 8 p.m.
