Five football seniors pen NLIs

Five Brownsburg football seniors penned their National Letter of Intent to play collegiately and continue their academic careers at the collegiate level. The players were joined by their immediate family and Brownsburg coaches Dec. 16 at the high school to celebrate National Signing Day
QB Ben Easters will continue his football career for Head Coach Les Miles and the University of Kansas. Easters led Brownsburg to a 25-7 record under center and threw for over 5500 yards to go with 57 touchdowns. He was a two-time All-State selection, three-time All-Hoosier Crossroads Conference First Team selection and an Academic All-state selection during his career.
DE Mani Jackon signed to continue his playing career for Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Illinois. Jackson accounted for 47 total tackles and 5.5 sacks over two-years as a starter.
Two-time letter winner Josh Sales chose to sign with Head Coach Tom Allen and the Indiana University Hoosiers. Sales was an All-Hoosier Crossroads Conference and All-State selection as a key cog for Brownsburg on the offensive line. During his career the OT helped protect one of the HCCs top offensive attacks
WR Preston Terrell signed to play for Head Coach Jeff Brohm and the Purdue University Boilermakers. Terrell was an All-State and All-Hoosier Crossroads Conference selection as a Bulldog, accumulating 106 receptions, over 1,600 yards and 17 touchdowns.
Pete Nygra, another key member for Brownsburg's offensive line, signed to play collegiately for Northern Illinois University in Dekalb, Illinois. Nygra was an All-State selection and two-time All-HCC First Team Selection during his three-year Brownsburg career.
