About the Bombers

St. Xavier will kick off its 2020 season tomorrow against Brownsburg. The Bombers are coming off a 9-3 2019 season under head coach Steve Specht. St. Xavier fell to Elder, the eventual Division I state runners-up, in the Ohio state playoffs last year.

WR Liam Clifford is a lead returner on offense for the Bombers. Clifford, a Penn State commit, caught 77 passes for over 1100 yards in 2019. He scored 13 touchdowns for the Bombers a year ago.

DT Gio Albanese and LB Matthew Devine are key cogs for St. Xavier on defense. The duo combined for over 160 tackles and 12.5 sacks last year.

Brownsburg Community School Corporation is following the guidance of the Governor, the state and county health officials and the IHSAA with regard to fall athletic events. As a result, limited tickets are only available for team family and select students. Only those with an advanced ticket will be admitted to C.F. Roark Stadium for the game.
