Easters, Terrell lead No.5 Football past Zionsville, 41-13

Brownsburg (6-1, 4-1 in HCC) moved past Zionsville 41-13 Oct. 2. QB Ben Easters and WR Preston Terrell connected on five touchdown passes in the win over the Eagles. The mark was a career high for Terrell in a single game. Easters ties a previous high of 5 touchdown passes in a single outing. (Fishers; 2019)

The Brownsburg defense held an opponent to two-touchdowns or fewer for the fourth time this season. Meanwhile the Bulldogs offense reached 40 points for the fourth consecutive game.

Brownsburg mounted a 28-6 halftime lead off three touchdown catches from Terrell. Brownsburg followed a Zionsville touchdown on the opening drive with 28 unanswered points in the first half.

Terrell's first touchdown of a night was a 53-yard catch to put Brownsburg up 14-6. His 31-yard corner snag in the final minute capped off a dominant half for the Bulldogs.

The Bulldogs first scoring drive of the second half came as Terrell leaped over the defender in the corner of the endzone. Later in the third quarter Terrell was wide open on a 31-yard strike to make it a 41-6 lead for Brownsburg.
