Bulldogs Fall to Lawrence Central

The Varsity Softball team lost to Lawrence Central on Thursday evening to close regular season play.  Brownsburg's 0-6 loss changes their regular season record to 14-9.  The Bulldogs managed to collect an equal number of hits as the Bears on the evening; but a combination of defensive errors and the Brownsburg's inability to manufacture runs contributed to the defeat.  Sophomore Elissa Brown was 2-4 at the plate with a double and a single, while Ally Carver, Jessica Doctor, Sydney Lowe and Kyleigh Anderson each collected one hit.  Brownsburg will match-up against Terre Haute North next Tuesday for the IHSAA Sectional Tournament.
