Softball Celebrates Educators

Softball Celebrates Educators

On Wednesday night, the Brownsburg Varsity Bulldogs recognized and celebrated seniors Taylor Mendenhall, Ally Carver and Taylor Astell for their outstanding contributions to the BHS Softball program over the past four years.  After graduation, all three seniors will extend their softball careers, playing in college.  Brownsburg also recognized Madi Schilling and Tasha Hall, two senior managers that have been so valuable over the past three years.  In addition to celebrating Senior Night, Brownsburg also recognized outstanding Brownsburg Educators at the programs 3rd annual Most Valuable Educator Night.  Thank you educators for your meaningful contributions in these student-athlete's lives.

Following recognition, Brownsburg faced off against the Noblesville Millers.  Noblesville had fewer errors than the Bulldogs and they outhit Brownsburg 13-7.  These two factors contributed to Brownsburg's 3-8 loss.  Taylor Astell, Ally Carver, Kyleigh Anderson, Mackayla Gordon, Elissa Brown, Jessica Doctor and Brandy Mowery each earned one single.  Anna Carroll and Mackayla Gordon earned Brownsburg's only two RBI's.  Brownsburg's record changes to 13-8 with the opportunity to pick up another win this evening, as they travel to Chatard.
