Bulldogs Defeat Stars
The Varsity Bulldogs defeated Western Boone on Wednesday night with a score of 8-1. Brownsburg outhit Western Boone 10-6, while maintaining a consistent performance from the pitching circle. Sophomore pitcher Elissa Brown was credited with the win in the circle. Sophomore Kyleigh Anderson led the Bulldogs offensively, finishing with three singles and three RBIs. Senior Taylor Mendenhall remained consistent at the plate, earning two hits in her three attempts. Ally Carver, Elissa Brown, Anna Carroll, Kayleigh Pate and Cece Ridgeway each manufactured one hit apiece. Other RBIs on the evening were produce by Brianna Harbin and Elissa Brown. The Bulldogs will travel to Carmel on Friday and Saturday to compete in the Carmel Invite.
