Bulldogs Compete at Hendricks Co. Tourney

Brownsburg faced off against the Avon Orioles during round 2 of the Hendricks County Tournament.  The Orioles outhit the Bulldogs 13-6, which contributed to Brownsburg's 10-2 loss.  Senior Taylor Astell and Junior Mackayla Gordon were red-hot offensively.  Astell added 3 hits in her 4 attempts, while Gordon added 2 hits in her 4 attempts with 2 RBIs.  Junior Brandy Mowery also looked great at the plate, connecting for the teams only double of the game.  Mowery finished 1-2 at the plate.

Brownsburg defeated Tri-West on Saturday, 11-0.  The offensively charged Bulldogs outhit the Bruins 16-3.  Senior Ally Carver and Junior Jessica Doctor were 3-3 at the plate.  Carver recorded one triple, while Doctor had two doubles.  Junior Brandy Mowery continued crushing the ball during round three of the tournament, recording two more doubles against the Bruins.  Taylor Mendenhall and Kyleigh Anderson collected two singles each, while Claire Flick added one double.  Brownsburg finished the tournament 2-1, earning 3^rd place.  The Bulldogs will play Mooresville at home on Monday at 5:30.
