Bulldogs on a Roll

Brownsburg Varsity Softball continued their strong start to the season with a 21-3 win over the 21^st ranked Ben Davis Giants on a damp Wednesday evening.  The Bulldogs outhit the Giants 21 to 5 with the biggest damage coming in the 12 run 6^th inning.  Taylor Mendenhall was 3-4 with two doubles and 3 RBI's and MacKayla Gordon was 3-5 with 4 RBI's in the game.  Taylor Astell and Elissa Brown were each 3-4 with an RBI while Jessica Doctor contributed 2 hits along with 2 RBI's and Brandy Mowery pitched in with 2 hits.  Elissa Brown was the winning pitcher of record giving up 2 earned runs and striking out 5 Ben Davis batters.  The 4-0 Brownsburg Bulldogs will host the Pike Red Devils on Thursday evening at 5:30pm.
