Bulldogs Win

Brownsburg scored 3 runs in the 3rd inning and then added 1 run each in the 6th and 7th innings to hold off a feisty Whiteland Warriors team by a score of 5-3 in their last game of the regular season.  Sydney Lowe was fantastic as she pitched her first complete varsity and was credited with the win that included 9 strikeouts over the host Whiteland.    Mackayla Gordon led the hitting attack going 2-3 with a double and Taylor Astell added a couple of hits going 2-3 on the night.  Lucy Paczkowski had a key hit down the right field line for the first triple of the evening that scored 2 Bulldogs as she would add a single to complete her night 2-4 with a 3B and 2 RBI's.  Taylor Mendenhall added the second triple of the evening with a long drive over the right fielders head in the 7th inning and Elissa Brown would add a single as well on the evening.  Brownsburg finished the regular season with a 13-12 record, tied for 4th with a 2-4 record in the Hoosier Crossroads Conference.  The Brownsburg Bulldogs will face the Mooresville Pioneers on Monday May 25th at noon in the Terre Haute South Sectional.
