#10 Harrison narrowly defeats Bulldogs

The Brownsburg varsity softball lost 5-6 in seven innings against the Harrison Raiders.  Each team collected for 9 hits and made one error each.  Taylor Astell lead the team with three hits in her four attempts at the plate.  Sydney Lowe and Lucy Paczkowski both went for the long ball, connecting for a homerun each.  Lowe's HR was good for 2 RBIs and a few innings later Paczkowski stepped up for a timely 3 run homer, bringing the score to an even 5-5.  Unfortunately, a 7^th inning Harrison HR was what it took for the Raiders to secure the win, beating the Bulldogs 6-5. 

The Bulldogs will travel to McCutcheon this afternoon, hoping to improve their record to 8-6
