Pioneers Hand Bulldogs a Loss

Brownsburg dropped a close game to Mooresville on Saturday, losing 2-1.  Bulldog pitchers Elissa Brown and Jessica Doctor combined for a solid performance as Brownsburg outhit Mooresville 6 to 5 and committed no errors in the field.  Brianna Harbin was 2-3 offensively with a double, Jessica Doctor was 1-1 with a double, and Elissa Brown finished 1-3 with Brownsburg's only RBI of the game.  Other Bulldog hitters that collected a hit each were Lindsey Stahl and Taylor Astell.  Brownsburg's season record changes to 12-10.  They will face HCC opponent Hamilton Southeastern at 6:00 PM tomorrow on their home field for Educator Appreciation Night.
