#3 Center Grove Downs Bulldogs

The #24 ranked Varsity Softball Bulldogs came up just short against the #3 ranked Center Grove Trojans, losing 0-1. With this loss, Brownsburg's record falls to an even 3-3. 

Taylor Astell and CeCe Ridgeway stayed red-hot at the plate, continuing their dominating offensive streak. Ridgeway was on 2/2 with a walk, while Astell was 2/3 offensively. Lucy Paczkowski was 1/3 with a double.

Jessica Doctor recorded the loss from the circle, although she pitched a great game holding the offensive powerhouse to only 4 hits and only allowing one walk. Brownsburg played a solid defensive game; however, the Bulldogs couldn't string together the hits needed to generate needed runs in this 1-0 shut-out.

Brownsburg will travel to Plainfield this weekend for the Hendricks County Tournament. The Bulldog's first match up of the weekend is against the Tri-West Bruins
