Bulldog Defeat HCC Foe Westfield

Brownsburg defeated HCC opponent Westfield on Cancer Awareness night with a final score of 3-2.  The Bulldogs improved their record to 7-5 and recorded their first conference win of the season. 

Jessica Doctor was the winning pitcher for the Bulldogs, allowing only two Shamrock hits and recording 11 strike-outs.  Brownsburg started off the game with a powerful offensive performance, manufacturing all three of their runs in the first inning.  Throughout the rest of the contest, the Bulldogs maintained their solid defensive play and did well to keep Westfield off the base path.  Elissa Brown was 2/3 for the Bulldogs, while Taylor Mendenhall, Brianna Harbin, Mackayla Gordon, Taylor Astell, and Lucy Paczkowski chipped in with a hit each. 

Brownsburg will face former conference opponent Lafayette Harrison at home this Thursday.
