Tigers Defeat Bulldogs

Brownsburg lost 1-2 against the Lebanon Tigers last weekend, despite outhitting them 7-4.  Sophomore pitcher Jessica Doctor held the Tigers to 4 hits, 2 earned runs, and surrendered 4 Lebanon batters to strike out.  Offensively, Lucy Paczkowski was the solo Bulldog collecting multiple hits, going 2-3 at the plate.  Brownsburg's other hits were generated by Taylor Mendenhall, Taylor Astell, Jessica Doctor, Brianna Harbin, and Lindsey Stahl.  Cece Ridgeway added a sacrifice hit manufacturing the Bulldog's one run on the day, but one run wasn't quite enough to pull off the Bulldog victory.  Brownsburg will travel to Lawrence North this evening and Noblesville tomorrow.
