Bulldogs Lose to Fishers

Brownsburg's Varsity Softball team lost in 7 innings to Fishers last night with a final score of 2-6. The Bulldog's season record drops to 4-5.

Jessica Doctor recorded the loss from the circle, allowing 12 hits, 5 earned runs, 3 batters walked and 5 strikeouts.

The Bulldogs were out hit by Fishers (12-5) in last night's contest. Taylor Astell took the ball deep in the 2nd inning for her first BHS career long ball. Astell finished 2-4 at the plate with a home run and a double. Kelsey Reinhardt was 1-2 with 2 walks, while Taylor Mendenhall was 1-3 with a double and Lucy Paczkowski was 1-4 with a double.

Brownsburg will compete in the Carmel Invitational this weekend with a chance to pick up three victories.
