IHSAA Baseball, Softball pairings show set for Sunday on IHSAAtv

Sectional pairings for the 2021 IHSAA Baseball and Softball State Tournaments are set to be revealed Sunday (May 2) live via webstream. The matchups for the softball state tournament will be announced Sunday at 6 pm ET with those for the baseball tournament to immediately follow at 7 pm ET. Both pairings shows will be hosted by Greg Rakestraw and streamed live
exclusively on the IHSAA's video portal at IHSAAtv.org.

Brownsburg softball won the IHSAA Sectional championship en route to an IHSAA Semi-State appearance during a stellar 2019 season. The Bulldogs (9-5, 2-1 in Hoosier Crossroads Conference) will look to win a Sectional championship for the eighth time in program history. 

Meanwhile, Brownsburg baseball (6-4, 4-4 in Hoosier Crossroads Conference) is in search of the program's first IHSAA Sectional crown since the program won three straight from 2011 to 2013. Brownsburg has won fourteen IHSAA Sectional championships as well as the 2005 IHSAA Class 4A State championship in its school history. 

Avon, Brownsburg, Decatur Central, Plainfield, Terre Haute North and Terre Haute South are aligned in IHSAA Sectional 12 for the 2021 season. Terre Haute South is set to host the softball Sectional while Plainfield will play host to the baseball Sectional.
