The Brownsburg Baseball team slugged its way to a 10-2 victory over North Central on Tuesday, bringing their record on the season to 5-2.

Catcher Sean Gannon led the way for the Bulldogs at the plate, going 3-for-4 with 4 RBIs. Ty Mathews also slugged a two-run homerun in the fifth inning to break open a 2-1 game. The Bulldogs would go on to score two more runs in the innings and never looked back.

Jackson Parent had a strong outing, pitching 4.2 innings and only giving up a run on two hits. Parent struck out eight on the evening, including striking out the side in the second inning.

Jackson Fought ripped a double, scored a run and got an outfield assist to cut down the tying run in the second inning and keep the score at 2-1. With the Panthers having other baserunners on at the time, the play sparked a big momentum push for the Dogs. Other highlights for Brownsburg included Ben Bayler scoring twice and Wyatt Clodfelter's stand-up triple in the sixth inning, when he later scored.

Brownsburg returns to action on Thursday, April 22 as they host HC rival and No. 8 Zionsville. The game is scheduled to start at 6 p.m.
