Baseball completes sweep of Avon behind stellar pitching

The Brownsburg Baseball team completed the sweep of rival Avon on the road on Thursday, taking down the Orioles 5-2. Avon was only able to record three hits in seven innings, as Connor Lambert (4 IP, 6 Ks) and Blake Fuller (3 IP, 5 Ks) were stellar.

On the offensive side, Keenan LeBlanc continued his hot hitting streak going 2-for-3 with 2 RBI, while Ben Bayler followed up his seventh inning heroics in Wednesday's game with another big hit in the seventh inning with a double to help Brownsburg add a couple of insurance runs. 

The Bulldogs look forward to a weekend doubleheader versus Plainfield and Decatur Central, starting at 10 am and 1:30 p.m., respectively.
