The Brownsburg Baseball team defeated New Castle in extra innings on Saturday, April 10, moving them to 3-0 on the young season.

In a game that did not see much offense, Dominic Skinner came through in a big way for the Dogs. The senior went 2-for-4 with 3 RBIs, including the eventual game-winners, with two in the top of the 9th.

The Dogs only needed two pitchers throughout the nine inning contest, with Luke Shelton tossing 4.2 innings with 0 ER and 3 Ks, while Blake Fuller pitched 4.1 innings without giving up an earned run and striking out six.

Brownsburg returns to action with HCC opponent and No. 1 Westfield at Mary Beth Rose Park on Thursday, April 15. The game is scheduled to begin at 6:00 pm.
