Seven seniors pen NLIs

Brownsbrg Athletics celebrated Fall Signing Day Wednesday, Nov.10 as seven Brownsburg seniors signed National Letters of Intent to continue their athletic careers at the collegiate level. 

Kylie Conrad signed to play soccer for Marian University in Indianapolis. Conrad was a three-time All-Hoosier Crossroads Conference selection, 2021 ISCA All-State selection and 2021 Hendricks County player of the year under head coach Josh George. Conrad, a two-time academic All-State selection, helped lead Brownsburg to back to back IHSAA Sectional championships to close out her career. 

Two-time letter winner Will McKinzie will continue his baseball career for Wabash College in Crawfordsville, Indiana following the completion of the 2022 baseball season. 

IHSCVA Second-team All-State selection Kendall Meller signed to play volleyball for the University of Colorado, Boulder. She was a four-time All-Hoosier Crossroads Conference selection, IHSVCA Indiana Junior All-Star, and Under Armour All-American during her career. Meller helped lead Brownsburg to consecutive IHSAA Sectional championships in 2020 and 2021. She also competes for Brownsburg Girls track and field, where she has lettered twice for the Bulldogs. 

Samantha Obsorne chose to continue her softball career for Hanover College following the 2022 softball season. 

Hannah Phegley signed to play volleyball for Franklin College after lettering and receiving IHSVCA Academic All-State honors during her senior season. 

Basketball letter-winner Shon Tupuola will play collegiately for the University of Indianapolis. Tupuola appeared in 20 games for the Bulldogs during his junior season and will play a key role his senior year under head coach Steve Lynch. 

Catcher Steven Walsh, a letter-winner under Brownsburg Baseball Coach Dan Roman, signed to play for Western Illinois University in Macomb, IL. He appeared in 13 games during the 2021 season and hit one home run.
