The Brownsburg Baseball team dropped a pair of weekend matchups with No. 8 Zionsville. The Eagles won 11-0 on Thursday at Brownsburg in five innings, and followed it up with a 5-0 victory at home on Friday.

The Bulldogs faced tough pitching all weekend, as Brownsburg was only able to record two hits on Thursday, singles from Wyatt Clodfelter and Steven Walsh in the 3rd and 4th innings, respectively.

The Dogs had more success offensively on Friday, recording three hits, but were still unable to record a run. Luke Shelton pitched admirably out of the bullpen on Friday, tossing three scoreless innings with just a hit given up and several strikeouts with the curveball.

Brownsburg looks to get back to winning ways on Wednesday, April 28 as the Dogs host Avon for the B&O Rotary Bell. First pitch is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.
