Flashes Spoil Bulldogs Senior Night

Tuesday night the varsity softball team celebrated its eight seniors in their game against Franklin Central.  Kirsten Bartlett, Sarah Callis, Chelsea Conover, Astrid Koose, Tori Martin, Katie Mingus, Alex Shipley, and Krystal Shirrell were honored for their time with the program.  Despite a particularly rough first inning which led to a 14-3 loss, Bartlett finished her last home game with three hits, including 2 doubles and all 3 RBI.  Katie Mingus and Chelsea Conover also finished the game with a hit each.  Carlie Weaver did a nice job holding the offensive-powered Flashes to 1 run in 3 innings.  The girls will finish up their regular season at Decatur Central on Wednesday and the Crawfordsville Invitational on Saturday.
