Trojans Defeat the Bulldogs

Thursday night the Varsity Softball team suffered a loss to a strong Center Grove Trojan squad.  The Dogs, led by Kayle Comer on the mound, held the Trojans to just 3 earned runs through the first 5 innings, but they came on too strong in the end for the Dogs' offense and defense.  Jessica Blystone played great in the outfield for the Dogs, and Tori Martin did a great job at the plate, earning 2 hits on the night.  Chelsea Conover continued to show her impressive offensive prowess, going 2 for 2 on infield hits.  The girls travel to Lawrence Central for a two-game tournament this Saturday to get back to their winning ways.
