Softball Come up Short in Loss to Zionsville

Softball Come up Short in Loss to Zionsville

Tuesday night the varsity softball team lost a close game to Zionsville, 4-3.  The Eagles got on the board first, but the Dogs battled back, scoring in each of the 5th, 6th , and 7th innings, just coming up short in the end.  Kirsten Bartlett helped the cause with a towering homerun in the 6th, and Alex Shipley, who led the way with 2 hits, and Tori Martin also contributed an RBI each.  Other hits were recorded by Jess Blystone, Sarah Callis, and Astrid Koose.  The girls are at home again tonight and look to even up their conference record against Lafayette Harrison at 5:30.
