Softball Opens Conference Season with a Win
Tuesday night the Varsity Softball team began their regular season conference games with a 7-3 win against Westfield. The girls were unable to produce runs in the first 5 innings, but they came up big in the 6th when Carlie Weaver hit Kirsten Bartlett and Krystal Shirrell in on her line-drive homerun to right field. The inning continued with timely hits from several other players to secure the win. Kayle Comer did a nice job coming in on the mound to help shut down the Shamrocks. The girls follow up the big win with a game at Ben Davis on Wednesday.
