Softball Makes Easy Work of Red Devils
Tuesday night the Varsity Softball team got a great win over Pike. It took the girls only 4 1/2 innings to run-rule the Red Devils and pull back to .500 on the season. The Dogs rode the skilled pitching of Kayle Comer, who allowed only 4 hitters to reach base, and the defense did a nice job of backing her up all game, as well. Offensively, Krystal Shirrell led the charge with a 3-run homer, a double, and a single, while Chelsea Conover and Carlie Weaver stayed hot with 2 hits a piece. Kirsten Bartlett also added a single, triple, and 2 RBI for the Dogs.
