Giants Too Much for Bulldogs
The varsity softball team suffered a loss to a strong-hitting Ben Davis team. The girls started out great in the first inning when Carlie Weaver plated Chelsea Conover to start off the game 1-0, but they had trouble producing offense in the innings that followed. The girls played strong defense, especially in the outfield where Jessica Blystone and Sarah Callis made spectacular catches. Conover was consistent throughout the game. The girls look to come out with determination tonight at home against a perennially strong Center Grove team.
