Trojans Spoil Bulldogs Night

The varsity baseball team took a tough loss last night at home to the Center Grove Trojans on Teacher Appreciation Night.  The Bulldogs got behind early 3-0 and battled back in the bottom half of the first inning to tie the game back at 3-3.  The Dogs then took the lead 4-3 before falling behind 5-4 in the 3rd inning.  The Dogs clawed back at the Trojans 8-4 lead befoe they were able to open thing up and ultimately, the Dogs pitching and defense wasn't enough. Senior John Moore had the offensive highlight of the night with solo HR, but it proved to be too little, too late.  The Bulldog baseball players would like to thank all the teachers that came out to support the team last night at Rose Park and hope to see them out again soon at the ballpark.  The Bulldogs are in action again tonight against their HCC opponent the Harrison Raiders.  First pitch is at 5:30pm
