Bulldogs and Royals Split on the Weekend

The varsity baseball team split a doubleheader with conference foe HSE this past Saturday.  In the first game, the Bulldogs lost a close 5-3 ball game despite great pitching from seniors Jordan Deal and Mycah Whetstone.  In the second game of the doubleheader the Bulldogs won 4-3 with a complete game by senior Isaac Sampen.  On the day, the Dogs were led offensively by Jeremy Jones, John Moore, Isaac Sampen, Sam Sampen, Bob Carr, and David Oliger.  Together, the six of them combined for all 10 hits on the day and some stellar work in the field.  The Bulldogs play North Central this evening and Westfield on Wednesday and Thursday.
