Dogs Drop 2 to Westfield

The boys varsity baseball team dropped 2 games in the last 2 days to conference opponent Westfield.  On the first night, the Bulldogs and the Shamrocks battled back and forth.  The Dogs had big hits by Logan Coughlin, Tyler Whetstone, and Mike Hartnagel; however, the offense stalled late in the game and allowed the Rocks to take a 9-8 victory.  The Dogs got innings on the mound from Mycah Whetstone, Jake Weimer, and Sam Sampen. 

Last night the boys dropped another heartbreaker 5-3.  The Dogs were led on the mound by Jordan Deal and Ty McCoy, but couldn't put together an offensive attack, only scoring a few runs from hits by David Oliger and Jeremy Jones.  The Dogs take the weekend off and play rival Avon next Monday and Tuesday.  Tuesday will be the home game, and is scheduled to be Little League Night.
