Bulldogs Defeat North Central

The boys' varsity baseball team improved to 7-4 last night with a 9-3 victory over the visiting North Central Panthers. The Bulldogs jumped on the board early by taking a 2-0 lead on a Bob Carr double off the wall scoring Isaac Sampen and John Moore The Dogs put on a steady barrage of runs throughout the game with big hits from senior David Oliger, who went 3-3 on the day, senior Jeremy Jones, who went 3-4 on the day, and John Moore who went 2-4. The Dogs scoring was capped by a sixth inning solo home run from senior Logan Coughlin. Sophomore Ty McCoy collected his second win of the season by tossing a complete game in his first varsity start. The Bulldogs will take a day off before returning to HCC action against Westfield at home on Wednesday.
