No.10 Brownsburg moved to 8-2 (2-0 in the HCC) on the year with a 7-2 win over Hoosier Crossroads Conference rival Zionsville April 22. It was the ninth consecutive HCC victory for the Bulldogs, a streak that dates back to the 2018 season.

Junior Kelsey Endress dominated the day, striking out a career-high 17 batters and hitting a pair of home runs in the win. Endress struck out nine batters over her final three innings of work, including a 14-pitch seventh inning to close out the game. She also accounted for four RBI at the plate with a pair of two run homers in the win. Endress was 3-for-4 at the plate against the Eagles.

Brownsburg shook off a slow start at the plate to put four runs on the board in the third inning. Grace Mendenhall hit her second home run of the year off a 2-run line drive to centerfield. Two-at bats later Endress sent her first homer of the night to centerfield. Maddy Edwards pitched in an RBI single in the fifth that made it a 5-0 advantage for the Bulldogs.

After the Eagles brought across a pair of runs in the bottom of the fifth, Endress stepped to the plate with Ashleigh Tranter at second base. Endress sent another fly ball to centerfield, her fifth home run of the season.
