No.4 Mooresville out-duals No.10 Brownsburg, hands Bulldogs 4-0 loss

By Keelen Barlow

No.10 Brownsburg traveled to No.4 Mooresville for a top-ten battle with the Pioneers, April 19. The Bulldogs bats went cold and Brownsburg dropped its second game of the season 4-0 to Mooresville.

The Bulldogs were locked in a pitchers dual through four innings as Kelsey Endress and Mooresville Pitcher Alex Cooper both had a blank scoresheet. Endress went 5.2 innings in the circle and struck out four batters. Maddy Edwards came in for the final out of the sixth innning.

Mooresville broke through for an unearned run in the fifth inning and three more runs in the sixth to get the win. The Bulldogs were held to just three hits on the night, with Ashleigh Tranter registering a pair of singles.
