Brownsburg swept its first two games at the Columbus North Invitational April 17, securing a 5-2 win over Seymour and a 6-5 walk-off win over East Central. The Bulldogs will take on Bedford North Lawrence or North Harrison tonight in the tournament finale.

Sophomore Addy Neal started for the first time in her Brownsburg career and threw 2.0 scorless innings in the circle against Seymour. Neal also hit a 2-run home run in the sixth inning, her third of the season.

Kelsey Endress came in to relieve Neal in the circle for the final five innings and struck out six batters for Brownsburg. She also had a pair of RBI at the plate.

The Bulldogs erased a 5-3 deficit against the Trojans to win on a Maddy Edwards walk-off double in the second game of the day. Brownsburg scored a pair of runs during a seventh inning rally to win the game. Olivia Calero's single led off the rally and Vivianne Harris brought home the tying run two-at bats later. Edwards doubled on a line drive to center that moved Brownsburg past East Central 6-5.

Maddy Edwards made her second apperance of the season for Brownsburg in the circle. She threw 4.0 2-hit innings and held the Trojans scoreless.
