No.14 Brownsburg stayed unbeaten on the year with a 21-4 five-inning win over Westfield in the Bulldogs Hoosier Crossroads Conference opener. Brownsburg moved to 4-0 (1-0 in HCC) behind two grand-slams from senior catcher Vivianne Harris. For the night Harris had 8 RBI, 3 hits and the first two home runs of her Brownsburg career. Sophomore Addy Neal also hit a home run in the win, her second of the year.

Ten different players accounted for Brownsburg's 16 hits in the win. Harris and starting pitcher Kelsey Endress both had three hits in the game. Harris, Neal, Olivia Calero and Ashleigh Tranter had multiple RBI against Westfield. Calero reached in all five of her plate appearances with a single, three walks, and a hit by pitch

Brownsburg jumped on the Shamrocks early and never looked back. The Bulldogs scored 12 runs across the first two innings to grab a big cushion in the game. Harris drove her first ball over the fence in the first inning. Her second grand slam came with two outs in the third. Neal sent her three-run shot over the fence on a live drive in the fifth inning.

Endress got the win in the circle after throwing 3.0 innings and striking out five batters. Neal and freshman Hailey Thompson each threw out of the bullpen.
