3 Home runs Lift Bulldogs to Win on Senior Night

Three homeruns led the Brownsburg Bulldogs Varsity Softball Team to a 7-1 win over Bishop Chatard last night for Senior Night.  The Bulldogs started off strong scoring on a groundout by Sophomore Anna Carroll in the first inning. They continued to build on that lead scoring three runs in the fifth inning. The big inning was thanks to back to back home runs by Junior Claire Flick and Carroll. Senior Sydney Lowe hit the third homerun of the night in the sixth inning. The Bulldogs collected nine hits with Seniors Jessica Doctor and Lowe collecting two each. Doctor earned the win for Brownsburg in the circle. She threw a complete game, allowing one run, four hits, and striking out eight. The Bulldogs are back in action Monday Night at home for Educator Night against Cathedral. The game starts at 5:30.
