Bulldogs Down Flashes

The Varsity Softball Team defeated the # 10 ranked Franklin Central Flashes on Friday night with a score of 14-8. Despite being down 6-0 in the top of the 5th inning, momentum began to change when Senior Kayleigh Pate hit a solo homerun making the score 6-1. The Bulldogs explosive offense did not stop there. Brownsburg scored 10 runs in the top of the 6th inning making the score 11-6. Junior Elissa Brown led the team with three hits including two doubles. Junior Kyleigh Anderson, and Seniors Mackayla Gordon and Sydney Lowe also each had a double.  Sophomore Anna Carroll was also consistent at the plate going two for four with a double and a two run homerun in the top of the 7th inning. Carroll also led the team with 4 RBIs. Elissa Brown was credited with the win in the pitching circle. The Bulldogs will take on # 3 ranked Avon tomorrow at 6:00 p.m.
