J.Doctor Leads Bulldogs to Win with 4 Hits

The Brownsburg Varsity Softball Team traveled to Lawrence North last night to take on the Wildcats. Four hits from Senior Jessica Doctor helped lead Brownsburg to a 8-4 victory. The Bulldogs grabbed the lead first when Doctor hit a two run homerun in the first inning. Brownsburg also had back to back homeruns by Seniors Mackayla Gordon and Kayleigh Pate in the second inning. Pate and Sophomore Hayley Huff each collected two hits apiece to lead the Bulldogs' offense. Senior Sydney Lowe earned the win in the circle. She threw five innings, allowing two runs, six hits, and striking out one.The Dogs are back in action tonight against conference rival Noblesville at 6:00 p.m.
