Bulldogs Defeat Sparkplugs

The Brownsburg Boys Varsity Golf Team traveled to Brickyard Crossing Golf Course to compete in their final dual match of the season. The boys played well and came away with a 164-187 victory over host Speedway. Alec Brown claimed medalist honors with a 38 (+2). Luke Kelly and Kasey Cross both shot 41 (+5), while Moe Wamsley and Landon Mundell turned in 44 (+8) each. Kyle Dafoe with a 46 (+10) completed the roster. The team finishes the regular season with a fine 79-34 record and now turns its focus to preparation for Monday's Sectional at Martinsville Golf Club. The team opens play in the strong 12-team Sectional beginning at 12:15 pm, competing for three spots for teams to advance to the Washington Regional to be held Thursday June 6.
