Boys' Golf Wins Danville Invite

The Brownsburg Boys Golf Team traveled to Twin Bridges Golf Club in Danville for the Danville Invitational. The boys played very well as a team in the cold and windy Saturday morning and early afternoon and came out with a 1st place showing out of 17 teams with a winning score of 320. Three teams finished tied for 2nd place at 324 - Mooresville, Greenwood, and Terre Haute North. Luke Kelly shot a 76 (+4) to tie for 3rd place out of 85 total players. Derek Hettmansperger came home in 77 (+5), and Kasey Cross shot an 80, which was just outside the Top 10. Alec Brown concluded the team scoring with an 87. Kyle Dafoe added an 88. The team hosts Brebeuf and Ben Davis in a 3-way Varsity only match Thursday April 18 at West-Chase Golf Club beginning at 4:00 pm
