Golf Scores 163 in Three-Way Match

The Brownsburg Varsity Boys Golf Team traveled to the east side of Marion County to Maple Creek Golf & Country Club to face two new opponents on the schedule - Cathedral and Lawrence North. Playing an unfamiliar golf course, the Dogs battled the Irish all the way to the
last player, falling just short of a victory losing 160-163. The Bulldogs did defeat Lawrence North, 163-198. Luke Kelly paced the scoring with a 38 (+2), Dylan Brinker carded a 40 (+4), Alec Brown a 42 (+6), and Derek Hettmansperger a 43 (+7) were the scoring players for the team. Kasey Cross shot 44 (+8), Landon Mundell 45 (+9), Kyle Dafoe 48 (+12), and Moe Wamsley 53 (+17) also competed in the match. The team is now 57-26 on the season. The Bulldogs will host the Hendricks County Invitational Monday May 20 at West-Chase Golf Club
beginning at 4:30 pm. This starts a busy week that concludes with the Battle Ground Invitational in Lafayette on Saturday May 25.
