Boys' Golf Defeats Heritage Christian

The Brownsburg Boys Varsity Golf Team hosted Heritage Christian in a dual match Thursday afternoon at West-Chase Golf Club. The Dogs played well in the windy conditions, paced by co-medalist Luke Kelly with a 36 (+1). Kyle Dafoe produced his lowest 9 hole score of the season, a
38 (+3). Moe Wamsley followed up his fine round Wednesday with another score below 40, a 39 (+4). Derek Hettmansperger shot a 41 (+6) and Alec Brown a 42 (+7) for the Bulldogs, while freshman Colby Theobald saw his first varsity action of the season and shot a 50 (+15). The boys now have a season record of 62-29 and will conclude the very busy week Friday with a dual match vs. Pike at Golf Club of Indiana and Saturday by participating in a 22-team invitational at Battle Ground Country Club near Lafayette. The squad concludes regular season play next Wednesday at Brickyard Crossing Golf Club in a dual match vs. Speedway.
