Boys' Golf Tops Tri-West

The Brownsburg Boys Varsity Golf Team traveled up the road to Quail Creek Golf Course for a match Monday with county rival Tri-West. The boys played very well from top to bottom on the roster and came out with a season-best 9-hole score of 148 compared to the Bruins' 186.
Derek Hettmansperger won the Medalist Honor with a 34 (-2). Alec Brown shot an even par 36, while freshman Landon Mundell contributed with a 38 (+2). Kasey Cross and Luke Kelly both added 40 (+4), Kyle Dafoe had 42 (+6), and Michael Wamsley shot 51 to conclude the scoring. The Dogs are now 43-9 on the season and continue a very busy stretch of the schedule with road matches Wednesday at The Trophy Club and Thursday at Brickyard Crossing, followed by competing in a very strong Sollman Invitational Saturday at The Trophy Club and the always-competitive HCC event next Monday at Bear Slide.
